One of my biggest anime pet peeves of all time has to do with….

Yoko

And some of the over sexualizations of her in terms of fan art.

I understand drawing sexy hentai or whatever about her, that’s in ever fandom you can’t stop that. Doesn’t help that she is kind of auto fan service if you cancel out how fucking awesome she is in Gurren Lagann. What really really bugs me though…is how people draw her proportions completely taken out of context…Like making her boobs way to physically big for her body. 

Yoko in the show was drawn perfectly to proportion with herself. I say this because I have the similar look, small waist huge boobs and wide hips. I don’t think anything is drawn to an extent on her. But people take that to the next level and destroy the look of a character just to make her look sexier!

She is way too fucking bad ass to be drawn as nothing but a sex symbol. I want more fan art showing her immense bamf-y-ness and less of her immense tits. It’s really annoying and bugs the hell out of me to see that all over my tags all the time. 

Yoko isn’t just fan service ya know. She did kind of help keep Simon and Kamina alive more often than not!

I do not understand where the explanation in this is AT ALL. Their arguement (their being a large and general term I know and I apologize) is the way Mako reacted when Korra was gone and continues to pamper her once she is back. Now I’m not going to go on some super longer rampage because honestly…not really worth it.But anyway, I don’t quite understand the reasoning, I mean when Korra disappeared he lost his closest friend(OUTSIDE OF BOLIN) and the love of his life though he refused to admit it at the time. A man is going to lose his mind and demand where she is especially if she could be killed on public display!

I can’t wrap my small little mind around it but I swear if I see any more of this hate mako, hate makorra, hate everything related to the two of them….well…
